Overview

The Master of Science in Engineering in Materials Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing (MSc(Eng)(MEAM)) is a one-year full-time postgraduate programme that equips students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in materials science, advanced manufacturing, and sustainable industrial innovation. The programme combines fundamental materials engineering with emerging manufacturing technologies to meet the growing demand for talent in high-value sectors such as microelectronics, energy, biomedical devices, and advanced materials.

Entrance Requirements

  1. Comply with the University Entrance Requirements; and
  2. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Science discipline from the University of Hong Kong, or a relevant qualification of equivalent standard from another university or comparable institution.

  • HK$780 (non-refundable and non-transferable)
  • Online payment only

Application Processing

  • Applications are reviewed after all required documents have been received.
  • Applications are processed on a rolling basis until all places are filled.
  • Early application is strongly encouraged.
  • Applicants may be invited for a telephone/zoom interview.

Offer Acceptance

As places are limited, applicants receiving an offer or conditional offer must accept it by the deadline stated in the offer letter. Unconfirmed offers may be withdrawn without further notice.

Important Notes for Non-local Applicants

As student visa processing may take considerable time, non-local applicants are strongly advised to submit all supporting documents as early as possible.
