Keynote Speaker
Professor Rui Zhang, National University of Singapore
About the lecture
This lecture and panel discussion will examine how reconfigurable MIMO can support the development of future 6G networks. Professor Rui Zhang will introduce key concepts and recent advances in intelligent reflecting surfaces, movable antennas, and other technologies that enable wireless environments and antenna configurations to be actively adapted. The lecture will explain how these approaches can improve coverage, spectral efficiency, reliability, and flexibility beyond conventional MIMO systems. The panel discussion will bring together leading experts to discuss major research opportunities, practical implementation challenges, system integration, standardization, and the potential role of reconfigurable MIMO in future wireless networks.
